Ruby Harris

Rufina “Ruby” Viscaino Harris, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 25, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Ruby was born April 7, 1933 in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii to Manuel Viscaino and Petra Mercado Viscaino. On June 27, 1981, she married Paul Eugene Harris in Idaho Falls. Ruby worked in the mail room for Melaleuca until December of 2005. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and crafting. Ruby dearly loved her family. She enjoyed growing up in Hawaii and always wanted to return. Survivors include her husband Paul Harris of Idaho Falls; daughter: Susan Ballesteres of New Jersey; son: Michael Ballesteres of Hawaii; daughter: Jeannette Connelly of Minnesota; daughter: Priscilla Havre of Hawaii; brother: Joe Viscaino of Hawaii; brother: Boni Viscaino, of Hawaii; sister: Mary Legar of California; and sister: Phyl Sanches of Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ann Seymour. In keeping with Ruby’s wishes, no funeral services will take place. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
