Ruben Campbell

RUBEN D. CAMPBELL MESA, ARIZONA -- Ruben Darrell Campbell, 83, formerly of Idaho Falls, died August 14, 2006, at his home in Mesa, Arizona. Ruben was born on May 1, 1923 in Idaho Falls and grew up in Swan Valley. He attended Idaho Falls High School graduating in 1941. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1943 - 1946. He married Madge Norene Munsee in 1944 and after the war resided in Idaho Falls until 1981, working in the electrical wholesale industry. He then resided in Evanston, Wyoming, until 2002, where he operated a sporting goods and antique store. Ruben moved to Mesa, Arizona, in 2002, to enjoy retirement in the sunshine. Survivors are: Wife: Madge Campbell, Mesa, AZ Son: Mark D. Campbell, Denver, CO Son: Kevin L. Campbell, Mesa, AZ Son: Brian W. Campbell, Atlanta, GA Half Brother: Max H. Pieper, Washington D.C. Half Brother: Rex D. Pieper, Las Cruces, NM 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2006, at Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
