Antonio Campos Romero “Tony,” 51, and Rosalva A Campos, “Rosie,” 52, of Firth, passed away July 5, 2014, of injuries sustained in a automobile accident on Idaho Highway 28, about 15 miles south of Salmon. Rosie passed away at the scene and Tony at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula, Montana, where he was life flighted following the accident. Rosie was born March 15, 1962, in Weslaco, Texas, to Nicandro Amaro Aguilera and Julia Isabel Aguilera. She grew up in Grantsville, Utah, and graduated from Grantsville High School. Tony was born March 31, 1963, in Aguililla, Michoacan, Mexico, to Casimiro Campos and Candelaria Romero Campos. Tony grew up and attended schools in Mexico. On January 4, 1995, they were married in Idaho Falls. They moved to Firth, Idaho, fifteen years ago. To this union were born nine children, Margaret, Ezmeralda, Yolanda, Micaela, Fabian, Adrian, Julian, Joel, and Jaime. Rosie and Tony made their home in Firth, where Rosie was a wife, mother, and homemaker. At the time of her death she was working at Sleep Inn & Suites in Idaho Falls. Tony was an aluminum welder and fabricator and worked at Anderson Manufacturing. They were both members of the Roman Catholic Church. Rosie enjoyed camping, fishing, and baseball, and especially loved playing first base. Tony loved the outdoors, hunting or “slaying deer,” as he called it, fishing, camping, and riding. Their family was very important to them both and they cherished times together. Rosie and Tony are survived by their four daughters, Margaret Jean (Merrill) Brown of Magna, UT, Ezmeralda Maria (Joseph) Gonzalez of Idaho Falls, ID, Yolanda Jensen of Shelley, ID, and Micaela Campos of Firth, ID, five sons, Fabian (Amber) Campos and Adrian (Alicia) Campos, both of Shelley, ID, Julian Campos of Firth, ID, and Joel Campos and Jaime Campos, both of Idaho Falls, ID; 15 grandchildren and one great grandson Rosie’s surviving brothers are Alfonso (Juana) Aguilera of Weslaco, TX, Rafael (Maria) Aguilera of TX, Robert (Gloria) Aguilera of Idaho Falls, ID, Rodolfo Aguilera of Bay City, TX, Ruben (Tiffany) Aguilera of Idaho Falls, ID, Ricardo Aguilera of Idaho Falls, ID, Nicandro Aguilera Jr. and Manuelito Aguilera, both of Lincoln, NE; sisters, Bertha A. (Herbert) Begay of Grantsville, UT, Raquel Ivarra of Lewisville, ID, Rebecca Aguilera of Idaho Falls, ID, and Patricia Lambert of Dallas, TX; Tony is survived by his parents, Casimiro of Blackfoot, ID, and Candelaria of Idaho Falls, ID. His surviving brothers are Jose Luis (Evelia) Campos of Idaho Falls, ID, Rafael (Rosalinda) Campos of Bozeman, MT, Jesus (Lupe) Campos of Blackfoot, ID; sisters, Virginia Campos, Carmen Campos, Socorro Campos, Rosa (Miguel) Cisneros, and Angelita (Javier) Avila, all of Idaho Falls, ID. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Raul and Salvador Aguilera. Tony was preceded in death by two sisters, Maria and Guadalupe Campos. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 9th & Lee.
