David Wayne "Rosie" Harman, 67, of Rigby and Ashton, Idaho, died July 6, 2017, in Ashton, Idaho, of natural causes.
He was born October 7, 1949, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to David Reese Harman and Ora Almeta Hall Harman. Rosie was the only child born to his parents. He was the joy of their lives.
Growing up, at an early age he developed asthma and had to spend many times under a tent with oxygen. In school he loved sports. He was able to participate in sports activities and would get short of breath. His cheeks would become bright red, thus he inherited his nickname "Rosie," and from that day forward all who knew him called him Rosie. He played football in high school and his teammates loved him and his rosy cheeks.
He loved nature and the outdoors. He loved to camp and fish and go exploring. He loved people and spent his life helping others with whatever he could do for them. He developed lifelong friends based on his compassion, kindness, understanding and love for others.
He was a man of many talents and skills from construction work, to equipment operator, to masonry work, to JACK of ALL trades, as well as farming, horse racing, a Biker, a world class dog musher, and a business man.
Rosie is survived by his daughter, Brandie Harman Kirk, two granddaughters: Char and Desi Harman, and his soulmate companion, Linda Janssen, who was with him when he passed away.
