IDAHO FALLS, ID -- “Grandma Rosie” left her
earthly ties to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, and her loved ones in heaven
on August 21, 2003. Rosella was born February 6, 1915, in Drumright, Oklahoma.
A year later, in 1916, she moved with her family to El Dorado, Kansas, where
she grew up and met her high school sweetheart and husband of 49 years,
Aaron Brentlinger. On May 24, 1936, Aaron and Rosella were married at 8:00
a.m., which allowed them to make their golfing tee time later that afternoon
on their wedding day.
Rosella was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron, her
mother and father, George and Ceneti Anderson Sutton, and her five brothers
and sisters, Gaynell, Dorothy, George, John, and Mary Elizabeth. She is
survived by her two daughters, Judith Ann Baldwin and Nancy Lee Lawrence,
along with her sons-in-law, Al Baldwin and Miles Lawrence, her grandchildren,
David Baldwin, Dan Lawrence, Erin Liberty, granddaughter-in-law, Kamela
Lawrence, and great-grandchildren, Chase Liberty, Parker Liberty, Kristin
Lawrence and Kelli Lawrence.
Rosella’s life was a testament of a lovely Christian
woman who “walked the talk” of her faith in Jesus. She was a
joy to be with and had a sense of humor that made everyone smile. She is
known for her famous pies and Swiss twists. Rosella had so many friends
who loved her and were an inspiration to her, which include Anita Moss,
Wanda Morris, Virginia Traxler, Herm and Darlene Haefele, Lula Weldon, Harmon
and Thelma Walker, Bill and Stella Norman, Kristi Gering, Phyllis Mills,
along with Audra, Bill, and Holly from Idaho Home Health and many, many
others from Kansas to California to Idaho.
She will be missed, but her family looks forward to the
day they will all be together again in heaven. Thank You all to those touched
Grandma Rosie’s life here on earth, know she is smiling down on each
and everyone of you.
