Rose Gramm

Rose Marie Gramm, 55, of Rigby, passed away October 26, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Rose was born December 21, 1960, in San Jose, California, to Thomas L. Landrie and Lottie A. Brown Landrie. Rose was a U. S. Air Force brat and attended schools all over the United States. On October 12, 1986, she married Richard E. Gramm in Long Beach, California. Rose and Richard made their home in Rigby, where they raised their four children, Gregory, Justin, Sandra and Nancy. Rose always did things her own way. She raised 14 kids – besides her own – over the last 25 years. She had a soft spot for animals and troubled kids and helped save many battered women and kids. A very spiritual person, Rose didn’t believe in organized religion. She was a great homemaker and enjoyed gardening, camping, cooking and spending time in Yellowstone National Park. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Richard Gramm of Rigby, ID; son, Gregory (Nicole) Gramm of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Justin (Pristine) Gramm on Ammon, ID; daughter, Sandra (Kyle) Knopp of Lafayette, NY; daughter, Nancy (Tristian) Custer of Kirkland, WA; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sandra Holt. Private family services will be held at a later date.
