RON ELLIS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ronald Leslie Ellis, 55, of Firth, passed away September 6, 2006, due to complications of cancer. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
He was born January 23, 1951, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Emmett Lamar Ellis and Violet Lucille Merrill Ellis. He was raised throughout Southeastern Idaho and attended schools in Grandview, Leadore and Salmon. He served as an SP4 in the U. S. Army policing action during the Korean Conflict.
He married Margaret Mae Monson February 27, 1969, to which union Michelle and Leslie were born. They later divorced. He married Toni Atkinson December 23, 1977, and his son, Cody, was born. They were later divorced. He married Elaine Ellis in 1986, and they were later divorced. He was a rancher and farmer all of his life and also worked as a mechanic.
He enjoyed his work in ranching, and also loved to spend time hunting, fishing, and with his family, especially his three grandsons, Tyler, Brady and Kaden.

Son: Cody (Margaret) Ellis, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Ernest (Carol) Hoadley, Mesquite, NV
Brother: Norman (Celia) Hoadley, Las Vegas, NV
Sister: Ruby (Richard) Walters, Idaho Falls, ID
3 Grandsons
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lamar and two nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, with Pastor Mike Glaser officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team.
Following services, a private family burial with family and close friends will be held on the Flying A Ranch in Wolverine Canyon. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Eastern Idaho, 1810 Moran, Idaho Falls, 83401. Services are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
