Ron Groth

Ronald Lee Groth, 72, of Rigby, passed away May 11, 2024, at his son’s home. He was under the care of Eden Home Health & Hospice and his loving family.

Ron was born May 1, 1952, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Carol Samuel Groth and Elizabeth Ann OLiason Groth. He grew up and attended schools in Long Beach, California.

He enjoyed motorcycles, and was one of the founding fathers of the Partners Motorcycle Club. He also enjoyed Jeeps and going on cruises.

Ron is survived by his son, Guy (Diana) Groth of Rigby, ID; daughter, Summer Groth of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Margie (Bill Facer) Salsgiver of Rigby, ID; sister, Eileen Baker of Homeland, CA; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Candy Groth; sister, Betty Groth; sister, Eloise Johnson; and son, Little Ronnie Groth.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Grant-Central Cemetery, 165 North 3300 East. The family will visit with friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to services at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
