Roger Lee Vickers, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away on January 10, 2013 at his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Roger was born August 20, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia to Calvin Vickers and Lahoma Chapman. He attended Franklin High School in Seattle. He served in the Gulf War as a Technical Sergeant in the Army and also as a Sergeant in the Air Force. Roger worked as a firefighter for twenty years.
Roger enjoyed model airplanes, bowling, and collecting coins & stamps. He loved playing the guitar. He enjoyed watching the Mariners and Seahawks.
Roger is survived by
Daughter, Angie Vickers of Florida;
Daughter, Marilee Vickers of Florida;
Daughter, Jessica Vickers of New York;
Son, Roger Lee Vickers Jr. of Florida;
Mother, Lahoma Chapman of Florida;
Brother, Mark (Cyndi) Chapman of Ammon;
Brother - Joshua (Yuriko) Green of Japan;
Sister Corlotta (Will) Robinson of Alaska;
and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Tom Chapman, and son Shane Vickers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
