Roger Roberson Jr

Roger Lee Roberson Jr, 41, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 31, 2015, at his home of Stage 4 cancer. He was under the care of his wife and Hands of Hope Hospice. Roger was born October 10, 1973, in Camp Pendleton, California, to Roger Barnett Roberson and Michelle Elizabeth Roberson. The family moved to Idaho Falls, where he grew up and attended schools, graduating from Skyline High School. He played football in high school. He also attended Idaho State University. On February 11, 2015, he married Amanda Jean Marie Brug in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Roger worked as a carpenter with the Carpenter’s Union and doing drywall with Barrus Construction. Roger was always wanting to help people however he could. He had a big heart and never wanted anyone to suffer or be unhappy. His friends were as close to him as family. The thing he enjoyed most was getting together with family and friends, reminiscing and laughing. He loved working in carpentry and drywall. Roger is survived by his wife, Amanda Roberson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Alexandra Cain of Canada, son, Jodus Bates of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Jaden Loveridge of Portland, OR, daughter, Bentley Roberson of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Treybien Roberson of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Kyah Cole of Idaho Falls, ID, stepdaughter, Tia Mora of Idaho Falls, ID, stepson, Tristen Mora of Idaho Falls, ID, stepson, Deven Mora of Idaho Falls, ID, father, Roger Barnett Roberson of Muskegon, MI, mother, Michelle Elizabeth Johnson-Brown of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Tyrone Lewis of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Teresa Madrigal of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Emmalena Tessman of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Shanna Fox of Detroit, MI, sister, Pierette Gilbert of Holland, MI, sister, Chablis Nobles, Vellego, CA, and sister, Jackie Meadows, Grand Rapids, MI. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andy & Helen Lewis, Son Roberson, Thelma Langford and Paul Cook. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, June 5, 2015, at Fielding Memorial Park, 4602 South Yellowstone Highway, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family requests that you do not wear black to the services.
