ROGER S. HUNTER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Roger Scott Hunter, 49, of Idaho Falls,
died January 22, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 4, 1956, in Miami, Florida, to Paul
Jackson Hunter and Ruby Lavonne Mason Hunter. He grew up in Florida and
attended schools there.
He married Jennifer Shepherd Marshall October 12, 2004,
in Idaho Falls. He became a minister with World Christianship Ministries
in 1998. He enjoyed his church work, his friends, fishing, camping, rattle
snake hunting, making dream catchers, wildlife, Native American folklore,
his close friends at Joshua D. Smith & Associates, and spending time
with his sons from a previous marriage. He struggled with mental illness
and addiction and was described by all who knew him as a caring, giving,
compassionate person who made friends easily.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Theresa Hunter and
Linda Hunter, and a nephew, L. C. Hunter.
Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday,
, January 27, 2005, at Fielding Memorial Park , with Bishop Calvin J.
Winslow of New Life Family Worship Center officiating.
The family will visit with friends Thursday from 10 to
11 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
