Rodrigo Diaz

Como solía decir, “¡Do it up!”

Rodrigo Diaz lived his 36 years with a boundless love of life and an easy smile that could brighten anyone’s day. He passed away in Idaho Falls on November 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and heart.

Born in Rexburg, ID and raised in Roberts,ID , Rodrigo lived life with curiosity and heart. He loved cooking, golf, snowboarding, playing bass guitar, and soccer — and above all, spending time with his family. Whether he was perfecting a recipe, hitting the slopes, jamming with friends, or laughing around the table with loved ones, he found joy in every moment and made each day feel like a celebration. As he often said, “Do it up!” — a motto he lived by every single day.

Rodrigo had an undeniable joy for life that drew people in. If you were in his circle, you were in it for life. He was an amazing friend, a devoted brother and son, and a husband who loved deeply. He shared that love and laughter with his wife, Aruna Christine Diaz Rowberry who was his constant companion and partner through life’s adventures. Together they built a home full of warmth, humor, and heart — the kind of love that everyone around them could feel.

The greatest joy of Rodrigo’s life was being a dad. His son, Florentino (Tino), was his pride and purpose — his favorite adventure partner, the one he wanted to teach everything he knew. Rod showed his love not with fancy words but through acts of care, humor, and showing up — every single time.

Rodrigo is survived by his wife, Aruna Rowberry Diaz; his son, Florentino Diaz; his parents, Rosalio Diaz Linares and Maria Dora Vazquez; his siblings, Alexis Diaz and Ariana Diaz; and many loving relatives and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
