Rodney Calvin Wilde, 56, of Roberts, Idaho, passed away January 4, 2014, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
Rod was born November 12, 1957, in Roberts, Idaho, to Avon Ray Wilde and Cloy Ann Munroe Wilde. He grew up and attended schools in Roberts and graduated from West Jefferson High School. He attended Eastern Idaho Vo-Tech and earned an Associate’s Degree in diesel mechanics and electronics.
On June 25, 1986, he married Tracy Lynn Edginton in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Rod and Tracy made their home in Roberts, where he worked as a farmer and lived in Roberts most of his life. He lived in Shelley for 10 years.
He was a member of the Eagle Rock Amateur Radio Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, amateur radio, electronics, computers, and loved spending time with his friends, family, and his nine grandchildren.

Sister, Maxine (Dick) Iwen of Oak Grove, MN,
Sister, Marie Ward of Roberts, ID.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Wilde.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Matt Wilde officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Friday, both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Roberts-Market Lake Cemetery.
