Roberta Liberato Saldana

Roberta Liberato Saldana, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 5, 2024, at her home.

Roberta was born November 13, 1941, in San Lucas, Michoacan, Mexico, to Arturo Liberato and Cornelia Yanez Liberato. She grew up and attended school in Mexico.

On April 19, 2000, she married Oscar Saldana Rodriguez in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Roberta and Oscar made their home in Idaho Falls where Roberta worked for Rigby Produce.

She was a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, dancing, and singing. Her family was her pride and joy.

Roberta is survived by her son, Juan (Lorena) Pineda of Greeley, CO; son, Alejandro (Carol) Pineda of Firth, ID; son, Salvador Pineda of Greeley, CO; son, Angel (Reyna) Pineda of TN; daughter, Zenaida (Alejandro) Zamora Liberato; daughter, Rafaela (Felipe) Cuellar of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Maria (Jose Guadalupe) Pineda of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Romualdo (Minerva) Pineda Liberato of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Alvaro (Leticia) Pineda of NE; son, Alfredo Pineda of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Karla Pineda of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Jose (Arrena) Pineda of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Telesforo Liberato; brother, J. Carmen Liberato; 56 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar Saldana Rodriguez; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024, with a visitation to follow until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery.

She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Oscar Saldana, and grandson, Jose Roberto Pineda, Jr.
