Roberta Arlene Reich, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 25, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Roberta was born March 1, 1930, in Lewiston, ID, to Walter Norman Locke and Mabel Arlene Anderson Locke. She grew up and attended schools in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School. She also attended nursing school in Missoula, MT.
On September 9, 1950, she married Donald Edwin Reich and they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in December of 1963. To this union were born three children, Donald, Kim, and Kathi. Roberta and Donald made their home in Yakima, WA and later moved to Idaho Falls, ID.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Stake Relief Society in Yakima, WA and spent 40 years doing extraction work for the church. She loved to play the piano and she did beautiful needlework and handwork of every kind. She was also a wonderful seamstress.
Roberta is survived by daughter, Kim (Arnold) Bailey of Idaho Falls, ID daughter, Kathi Walton of Thayne, WY, sister, Gail Cleo Haaland 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mabel Locke, husband, Donald Reich, son, Donald Reich Jr., and granddaughter, Heather Walton.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2018, at Idaho Falls LDS 2nd Ward, 885 South Boulevard, with Bishop Justin Manwaring officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
