Roberta Pauline Lewis Lotspeich, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 20, 2010 at her home.
Bobbie was born July 12, 1930 in Bogata, Columbia, South America to Theodore Vaughn Lewis and Edyth Lorraine Heckathorn Lewis. She grew up and attended schools in Glenrock, Wyoming. She continued her education at the Oberlin Music Conservatory and the University of Nebraska, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in music.
On February 10, 1952, Bobbie married James Lloyd Lotspeich in Glenrock, Wyoming. Together they raised two sons. She enjoyed being a mother and a home maker.
Bobbie was a member of the Episcopal faith. She served as a choir director and organist for First Christian and St. Joseph’s Episcopal. She was an avid reader and loved cooking and music. She played the organ and the piano and gave private lessons for both instruments. She was happiest spending time with her family and caring for her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Lloyd of Idaho Falls, her son Gregg Lewis (Carol) Lotspeich of Longmont, Colorado, her son Vaughn Lewis (Ann) Lotspeich of Knoxville, Tennessee and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In keeping with her wishes, private family services will be held.
