ROBERT C. NILMEIER
AMMON, ID -- Robert Charles Nilmeier, 63, of Ammon, died July 1, 2006, at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York.
He was born August 4, 1942, at Los Angeles, California, to Theodore Jack Nilmeier and Fredia Elizabeth Siedschlog Nilmeier. He graduated from high school in Fresno, California. He continued his education by attending Fresno State University where he received a Masters Degree in Special Education.
On March 6, 1987, he married Chris McDonald in Visalia, California. He worked as an Administrator in Special Education for the Tulare County School District. Following his retirement in July of 2000, they moved to Idaho Falls.
He enjoyed photography, winning numerous awards at the Eastern Idaho State Fair, fishing, and traveling. Robert adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2006, at Wood East Side Chapel (963 S. Ammon Rd.). The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery.
