Robert Larry McCulloch, 80, of Ammon, passed away January 23, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Robert was born December 14, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Thomas Lawing McCulloch and Betty Lee Aubuchon McCulloch. He grew up and attended schools in Rexburg, Idaho, and graduated from Madison High School. He also attended Ricks College. He served a church mission in Holland and Belgium.
On July 25, 1968, he married Ann Wixom in the Idaho Falls Temple. Robert and Ann made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Robert worked as a banker for 17 years. He also served as manager of Town & Country Gardens in Idaho Falls for 7 years.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a Bishop as well as several Stake missions. He enjoyed fishing, reading, gardening, camping, and hiking.
Robert is survived by his wife, Ann McCulloch of Ammon, ID; daughter, Tammy (Monty) Sher of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Craig McCulloch of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Carole Green of Rexburg, ID; sister, Nancy (John) Williams of Dayton, OH; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Michelle Brittain and Cathie Duchscher.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Liberty Cemetery near Montpelier.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to myasthenia gravis research at myasthenia.org.
