ROBERT "BOB" LINDERMAN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Robert Daniel Linderman, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 4, 2006, at Idaho Falls Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born January 30, 1924, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Daniel Henry Linderman and Catherine Knucky Linderman. He grew up on his family's ranch in Newdale, Idaho, and attended schools in the area. In 1941 he joined the U.S. Air Force and served as a First Officer during World War II in Europe flying B-17 Bombers.
He ranched for many years in LaBarge, Wyoming. He later started one of the first flying schools in Idaho Falls.
On September 4, 1975, he married Mary Lynn Chapman in Wilson, Wyoming. That same year he opened Start Specialists, where he worked until shortly before his death.
He enjoyed flying, people and working. Bob was kind to all creatures, especially his dogs. He had a desire to learn all of his life and made a conscious effort to expand his knowledge. He was exceptionally kind to his extended family and is loved and missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Lee Leathers; and a brother, Shane Linderman.
Private Family Services will be held under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
