When I think back to my childhood I can’t help but think of this extended part of my family. We were always together. We rode horses or bikes miles just to hang out with each other. We went camping running as fast as we could through the woods, jumping over snakes, and playing with the rattlers our dads gave us. Bikes were ridden off jumps into lakes. Ole Yeller and Big Red were jumped, dumped and stuck - sometimes filling the floorboards with water. I could go on and on with all my wonderful memories of this great family. I just want you to know that I WISH I could celebrate the gift of life of this dear man with all of you. He was like a second Dad watching out for me. Again know that at this time of my life even though I can’t be there in person I AM THERE IN SPIRIT holding all of your hands during this trying time in all our lives. Sincerely, Lisa (McGinty) Ferris Teresa Thatcher Don’t think of him as gone away His journey’s just begun ~ Life holds so many facets this earth is only one ~ Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears ~ In a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years ~ Think how he must be wishing that we could know today ~ How nothing but our sadness can really pass away ~ Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched ~ For nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much ~ I am deeply saddened by the news of Bob's passing. We were friends and neighbors in Idaho and continued that friendship with him when we moved to Washington. May your memories of him bring you comfort.
