Robert Kaiser

Robert LaVerne Kaiser, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 8, 2018, at his home. He was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice and his loving family. Robert was born August 25, 1927, in Shannon, Illinois, to Walter Alvin Kaiser and Alvina Sadi Kortner Kaiser. On June 5, 1948, he married Marilyn J. Staas in Freeport, Illinois. To this union were born three children, Wendy, Randy and Sally. Robert spent his career as a Lithographer. After retirement he worked for Lost River Lumber. Marilyn passed away on July 27, 2004. Robert enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family. Robert is survived by his daughter, Sally (Rob) Chace of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Wendy (Robert) Nobles of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Randy (Claire Ann) Kaiser of Ellensburg, WA; sister, Carolyn Moyer of Freeport, IL; 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marilyn J. Staas, brothers, Harold Kaiser, Alvin Kaiser, Glennen Kaiser; and a great-grandson, Blake Anselme. Per Robert’s wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.
