Robert "Bob" Isaacs

Robert Glen "Bob" Isaacs, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 22, 2017, at his home. He was under the care of Encompass Home Health and Hospice and his loving family. Bob was born March 31, 1940, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Joseph Alvin Isaacs and Ora Blanche Tyler Isaacs. He grew up and attended schools in Ammon and attended Bonneville High School. On October 22, 1968, he married Mary Jean Isaacs in American Falls, Idaho. Bob and Jean made their home in Idaho Falls, where Bob worked in logging and maintenance. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bob enjoyed watching his grandkids and great grandkids playing sports. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jean Isaacs of Idaho Falls, ID; step-daughter, Lola (Kyle) Hill of Firth, ID; step-son, Dennis (LeAnn) Frandsen of Bancroft, ID; step-daughter, Tawny (Dru) Roberts of Daniel, WY; sister, Mick Briggs of Idaho Falls, ID; 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Chet, Port, LaVern, Jack, Bill, and Larry; sisters; Eunice, Beulah, Jean, and Betty. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the Ammon Cemetery where Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
