Our prayers are with you, Matthew and your family. God is watching over all of you during this difficult time. May God Bless You, The Clary's David K Jamison davidkayjamison@msn.com Dear Hoffman family My name is David Jamison. I became great friends with Bob about fifteen years ago. We frequently rode bus back together from the INL site after a days work in field services. We became close friends. We had some amusing escapades. We had a few lunches together as his condition worsened and talked over old times. Bob was very appreciative of a book that my wife and I wrote and he read: “The Crown Without The Conflict.” We talked of my two children who passed away, we talked of his family. I remember “Baby Chicken” and a few newly adopted children. I remember the story of his son running up from behind, catching Bob unawares, and bending him forward as he sat on the floor, tearing out the ligaments in his knees. I’m sure that Bob was benevolent even under the most painful circumstances in life. I was amazed at how he faced his own end in this life with such concern for the welfare of others and none for himself. I will miss my friend for a time till we meet again. I wish his family to know how much I admired and cherished Bob’s friendship. Unfortunately I am scheduled to travel down to SLC this afternoon with friends and fly out of the country for a vacation or I would attend the funeral services. May god bless all of you.
