Click Here To View Memorial Video Robert Clyde “Bob” Henman, 83, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 30, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of heart failure. Bob was born January 1, 1930, in Ansley, Nebraska, to Elzie Wilbur Henman and Anna Vera Mortenson Henman. He spent his early years in Nebraska, then moved with his family to Wapello, Idaho, then to Medicine Lodge. He served as a Corporal in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On July 10, 1951, he married Emma Elizabeth Croft in Dubois, Idaho. To this union were born five children, Steven, Betty Ann, Michael, Teresa, and Tony. Bob and Emma made their home in Idaho Falls and Bob worked as a heavy duty mechanic for Stoddard-Mead Ford, Amcor, Inc., Golden Valley, White Truck, and Southern Idaho Diesel. He spent most of his career with the City of Idaho Falls and Bonneville County. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a home teacher, High Priest Group Leader and High Priest Group Assistant. Bob was a life member of the VFW, served as President of MEA for the City of Idaho Falls and on the supervisory committee of Scenic Falls Credit Union. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. Bob is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Emma, three sons, Son, Steven (Annette) Henman of Clearfield, UT, Son, Michael (Jeri) Henman of Hartford, WI, Son, Tony (Christine) Henman of Idaho Falls, ID; two daughters, Daughter, Betty Ann (Calvin) Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID, Daughter, Teresa (Lee) Hadfield of Tucson, AZ; four brothers, Brother, John (Bonnie) Henman of Caldwell, ID, Brother, Richard "Butch" (LaDonna) Henman of Rigby, ID, Brother, Lester (LaPriel) Henman of Dubois, ID; seven sisters, Sister, JoAnn (John) Abbott of Dubois, ID, Sister, Alice (Sonny) Olsen of Price, UT, Sister, Linda (John) Toler of Dubois, ID, Sister, Mary Lou Wellard of Idaho Falls, ID; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Anna Vera, a brother, Don Henman, and three sisters, Ruth Conrad, Delores Thompson, and Joyce Mortensen. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the Idaho Falls LDS 21st Ward, 1155 First Street, with Bishop Michael Baird officiating. The family will visit with friends from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
