Robert R. Hailstone - 11/24/2001 Robert R. Hailstone - 11/24/2001 ROBERT R. HAILSTONE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Robert Ray Hailstone, 72, of Idaho Falls, died November 20, 2001, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born December 17, 1928 at Salt Lake City, Utah to Jess Randall Hailstone, Sr. and Rachael Fredrickson Hailstone. He grew up in Compton, California where he graduated from high school and attended college. He served as a Corporal in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Arlene Foster on September 19, 1950 in the St. George LDS Temple. He worked in administration for Associated Piping & Engineering Corporation. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous callings. He enjoyed fly fishing. Surviving are:Wife: Arlene Hailstone, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Guy Hailstone, CADaughter: Kim (Jeff) Donahue, CASister: Ann (Benny) Reagan, CA 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jess Randall Hailstone, Jr. and Neal Hailstone; and a granddaughter, Mandy Michelle. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, November 24, 2001, at the Idaho Falls LDS Cedar Ridge Ward (3195 South Holmes Avenue), with Bishop Kevin Call officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
