Robert "Bob" Gordon Wells

Robert Gordon Wells, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 19, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Bob suffered a major heart attack after already surviving a debilitating stroke several years ago.

Bob was born July 11, 1947, in Price, Utah, to Norman Sidney Wells and Barbara Inez Metzler Wells. He grew up with two other siblings, Linda and Robin.

On February 15, 2014, he married James Patrick Stiles in Seattle, Washington. Bob and James made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Bob worked in food and beverage service.

Bob and I met by the circumstance of being in an online chat room just after we both had beloved pooches that needed to put down. THAT seems to remain one of the pieces of our defending cyber trolls from attacking each other while we were sitting next to their ashes. Some "powers that be" meant for us to meet. We did, we took it slow and we dated long distance. It was a true love!!!

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Barbara. Bob and Linda also had a younger brother named Robin. According to everyone in the family that I know, Bob and Robin could have been twins! Bob also had an Uncle Bob that he was named after that I never had the pleasure to meet.

Bob is survived by his loving husband, Patrick; one sister, Linda Bell, and her husband Dennis; Bob's FAVORITE nephew, Matthew Kelley and Matt's beautiful wife, Audrey; Matt and Audrey's son, Kyron, and his life partner, Jake, were here as well to assist with the funeral arrangements for our Robert’s passing. Some family were not able to be here at this time. We wish them to know that they are loved and missed.
