Robert Forsberg

Robert C. Forsberg, 41, of Ammon, passed away May 12, 2018. Rob was born June 2, 1976, in Seattle, Washington. He grew up and attended schools in the Seattle area and graduated from Woodinville High School. Rob served in the United States Navy on the USS John S. McCain. Rob moved to Idaho Falls after retiring from the Navy where he met and married his wife, Brett. Rob dedicated his time to raising their children, Harrison, Claire, Carma and Greyson. Rob was the most active nonmember of the LDS faith and spent countless hours serving those around him. The service that Rob rendered gave him such a sense of pride and made him truly happy. There was nothing that Rob loved more than his family, but the Seahawks were a close second. Rob was convinced that if he watched the Seahawks live he would jinx them, so football season was spent avoiding his phone and people until he could watch the game immediately after it was over. Rob is survived by his loving wife, Brett Anderson-Forsberg of Ammon, ID; parents, Grant and Von Forsberg of Shoreline, WA; son, Harrison (Katlyn) Holyoak of Ammon, ID; daughter, Claire Holyoak of Ammon, ID; daughter, Carma Holyoak of Ammon, ID; son, Greyson Holyoak of Ammon, ID; sister, Lisa (Mark) Harrison Voigt of Blaine, WA; sister, Keelee (Alyssa Altiere) Forsberg of FL; in- laws, Eric and Margaret Anderson of Ft. Worth, TX; best friends, Kathy Waters West and Eric (Paula) McGary of Ammon, ID; and his loyal dogs, Jake and Duke. Rob has been welcomed home by a loving Savior and Heavenly Father, and there is no doubt in our minds that his grandparents, Uncle Gary, dear friend, Earl Holyoak, and Tiva and Mandy are wrapping their arms and paws around him. The family would like to thank Dr. Boyd Southwick (although he is a 49ers fan) and Joel Buxton LMFT for the loving and respectful care they gave to Rob over the years. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, at the Ammon LDS 11th Ward, 1100 S. Tiebreaker, with Bishop Cort McCammon officiating. The family will visit with friends from 3-3:45 p.m. prior to services.
