ROBERT "BOB" DAVIDSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Robert Clint “Bob” Davidson,
73, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 28, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional
Medical Center.
Bob was born May 25, 1930, in Salem, Idaho, the older
brother of Steve and Deanne, and the son of Robert Leon Davidson and Ruth
Archibald Leatham Davidson. He spent his growing up years traveling with
his family as his father was a heavy equipment mechanic who worked in
the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) during the depression.
Upon graduating from high school in Seaside, Oregon,
Bob came back to Rexburg to be near family. There he met and fell in love
with Billie J. Wood. They were married in 1952, and from this union came
three children, Robbi, Stephanie, and Ron. Bob devoted his life to his
family by working hard to provide a good home with his wife for their
family in Jackson, Wyoming. He enjoyed time with them, skiing, boating,
camping, picnicking, or whatever activity would get us all out together.
As the kids grew he shared his love of dancing with them. Mom appreciated
this, as he could dance his wife and two daughters into the ground. He
could still outsmart the fish – which is a passion he ignited in
his son also. His retirement was well spent with Billie on the road in
their RV. He always did love driving.
Bob worked hard to play hard.
Bob is survived by his sister, Deanne (Merle) Lindley
of Caldwell, Idaho, his wife, Billie, of Idaho Falls, two daughters, Robbi
(Todd) Kimsey of Jacksonville, Florida, and Stephanie (Dick) Cuthriell
of Thayne, Wyoming, a son, Ron (Shannon) Davidson of Grand Junction, Colorado,
his grandchildren, Ruthie (Pigeon Poo), Shawnee, and Jessica, and a great
granddaughter, Makenzy.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March
31, 2004, at the Wood East Side Chapel, 963 S. Ammon, Idaho Falls. The
family will visit with friends Wednesday for one hour prior to the services
at Wood East Side Chapel.
Burial will be in the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery under
the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be
made in Bob’s name to ALS Division, Muscular Dystrophy Association,
