Robert Daniel Charboneau, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 18, 2011 at his home.
Bob was born February 12, 1949 in Portland, Oregon, to Albert Raymond Charboneau and Wilma Murphy Charboneau. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Riverside and Whittier Elementary Schools, Central and O.E. Bell Jr. Highs, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. Bob lived mainly in Idaho Falls and spent his winters in Arizona.
He married Kathy Davis and they were later divorced. He married Karen Buchanan and they were later divorced. Bob was married to Faith Petersen and they were divorced. At the time of his death, he was married to Mary Lou Amador.
Bob was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He worked as a painter and was a business agent for the Painter’s Union and he founded the Painters Apprentice Program.
Bob loved fishing, painting, traveling, and in general, he loved life.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Amador of Billings, MT;
daughter, Bobett Charboneau of Park City, UT;
daughter, Sandie Charboneau of Idaho Falls, ID;
step-son, Jeffery Amador of Billings, MT;
step-daughter, Rosealee Ybarra of Hayward, CA;
step-son, Miles Petersen of Bakersfield, CA;
and grandchildren Mikaeli Zito of Salt Lake City, UT; Mya Llamas of Idaho Falls, ID; Christopher Ybarra and Summer Ybarra, both of Hayward, CA.
Bob also leaves behind his brother Albert Charboneau of Las Vegas, NV;
and his sisters June Taylor, of Las Vegas; NV; and Patsy Charboneau of Idaho Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jimmy Charboneau.

Funeral services for Bob will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Wood Funeral Home (273 North Ridge Avenue), with a visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. On Thursday evening, a rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a visitation for family and friends until 8:30 p.m.
