Robert Rodney Campbell, 60, passed away June 5, 2015, setting up one last concrete job in Doyle, California.
Robert was born November 23, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Richard Arnold Campbell and Barbara Jean Knapp Campbell. He graduated from Skyline High School in 1974 and went on to cement finishers trade school in Weiser, Idaho.
On February 19, 1983, Robert and Eleanor were married. Robert welcomed Eleanor’s two children, Carrie and Lisa, as his own.
Robert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the Operatives Plasterers and Cement Masons International Association Union (OPCMIA) for 30-plus years. He worked for many companies, including Rhinehart, Three Rivers Construction, C&D in Idaho Falls, and Valley Concrete in Reno, Nevada. At the time of his passing, he was employed at URS Army Depot in Herlong, California. Robert was a very hard worker. He enjoyed fishing, pheasant hunting, and play ing cards.
He is survived by his
loving wife of 32 years, Eleanor Campbell of Reno, NV;
daughter, Carrie (Sheldon) Forsgren of Idaho Falls, ID;
daughter, Lisa (Jerry) Kriskovich of Indianapolis, IN;
four grandchildren, Tyler Forsgren, Dylan Forsgren, Miquela Kriskovich, and Eric Kriskovich;
brother, Wayne (Beth) Campbell of Idaho Falls, ID;
sister, Robin Nelson of Folsom, CA;
brother, Perry Campbell of Idaho Falls, ID;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Campbell; sister, Ellen Campbell; grandparents, Howard and Ruby Knapp and Arnold and Catherine Campbell.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at the Idaho Falls LDS 39th Ward, 7940 North 35th West. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
