Robert Heinz Callen

Robert “Bob” Heinze Callen was born on April 26, 1975, in Germany. He passed away at his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on August 19, 2021.

When Bob was two years old his mother, Shirley Callen and her husband Martin “Martey” Callen found Bob wandering the streets and fell in love with this little boy. They decided their family would not be complete without him in their lives. Shirley and Martey adopted Bob and brought him back to Idaho.

Bob grew up in Sagle, Idaho, and brought so much joy to everyone he met. Bob lived most of his adult life in Boise, Idaho, and the Idaho Falls, Idaho area, where he received services for individuals with disabilities.

Bob loved to play ricks on those around him. He had a great sense of humor and had a contagious laugh. His robust laugh and his enormous heart will sorely be missed.

Shirley Callen wishes to thank Grand Teton Human Services and the direct care support staff who cared for Bob for many years. Their love, comfort, care, and support have been greatly appreciated.
