SHELLEY, ID -- Robert “Bob’ Byington, 52, passed away June 5, 2010,at his home in Shelley, Idaho. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho for the past two months.
Bob was born September 24, 1957, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Merrill Ray Byington and Bessie Theresa Hunsaker Byington. He grew up and attended schools in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School.
Bob lived in Shelley for the past 26 years, Huntington, Utah, for eight years, and Ririe the first 23 years of his life. He worked in construction with the Local Union 155. He also worked in Utah and Texas. Bob married Wendy Heath and they had two children, Justin and Misti. They were later divorced. He married Mary Harding Bowcutt and they had one daughter, Tawna. They later divorced.
Bob enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, hunting and working on automobiles. He especially enjoyed his dog and giving to others.
He is survived by;
Son: Justin (Courtney) Byington of Greenville, South Carolina;
Daughter, Misti (Jordan) Mobley of Idaho Falls, Idaho;
Daughter, Tawna Byington of Shelley, Idaho;
Brother: Craig (JC) Byington of Ririe, Idaho;
Brother: Steve (Tammie) Byington of Rigby, Idaho;
Sister: Marilyn (Murland) Spaulding of Idaho Falls, Idaho;
Sister: Mickey (David) Monroe of Ririe, Idaho;
Sister: Valerie (Jerry) Hathaway of Shelley, Idaho;
Sister: Diane (Rex) Young of Ririe, Idaho;
Sister: Marla (J. Reece) Bateman of Ririe, ID;
Sister: Peni (Gene) Scott of Ucon, Idaho;
Sister: Dawn (Jon) Cowley of Ucon, Idaho;
and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Ronnie.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at the Ririe LDS 2nd Ward, 14061 North 130 East. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 1-1:45 p.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to help the family with the funeral expenses.

Sorry for your loss. I did not take the paper so I am sorry that I missed the funeral to tell all of you - his family - how sorry I am for for the loss of such a good man.
