Robert James “Bob” Byerly, 81, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 11, 2012, at his home in Tucson, Arizona.
He was born August 15, 1930, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Robert Lofton Byerly and Eva L. Stiles Byerly. He attended schools in New Sweden and Idaho Falls. His family had very strong faith in the First Christian Church in Idaho Falls, where he was baptized.

In 1956, he moved to Arizona to follow the construction work, working on custom homes near the Glen Canyon Dam in Page, Arizona, now known as Lake Powell. He continued using his construction talents throughout his life and was a Superintendent until he retired.
Following his retirement he enjoyed his roots as an avid gardener. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting antiques and refurbishing old hand saws; cleaning them up and making new handles when needed.
