Robert Paul Breckenridge

Robert (Bob) Paul Breckenridge, 68, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 9, 2023, at his home.

Bob was born September 1, 1955, in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, to Alan James Breckenridge Sr and Ann Welsh Breckenridge. Bob grew up in Pennsylvania with his parents and four siblings, and graduated from St. John Bosco High School and The Pennsylvania State University (BS, MS).

On April 7, 1984, Bob married Cynthia Kay Rowe in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Bob and Cindy made their home in Idaho Falls for almost 40 years, where Bob earned his PhD from The University of Idaho and worked as an Environmental Scientist for INL.

Bob enjoyed an active life that included parenting, coaching youth soccer, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, bicycling, river rafting, and more.

Bob is survived by his wife, Cindy Breckenridge of Idaho Falls; son Andrew (Tonya) Breckenridge; daughter Kelsy (Eliot) Prokosh; mother Ann Breckenridge; sister Ann (Alan) Abel; and brothers Alan (Beth) Breckenridge and G. John Breckenridge.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Alan and his brother, Craig.

A private celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.

The family asks that no flowers be sent and instead suggests donations to Teton Regional Land Trust.
