Robert Scott “Bob” Campbell, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 8, 2020, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and Solace Hospice.
Bob was born May 29, 1963, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Gerald Campbell and Anita Cramer Campbell. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. He also attended Idaho State University. Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a Staff Sergeant during the Iraq War.
On March 4, 1988, he married Kilpok Kay Kang in Osan, South Korea. Bob and Kay made their home in Idaho Falls where Bob worked as a Police Officer for Bonneville County. He also served on the Bonneville County Search and Rescue Dive Team.
He was a Christian. He enjoyed guns and reloading ammunition, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Kay Campbell of Idaho Falls; sons, Andrew William Campbell and Sean Michael Campbell, both of Idaho Falls; parents, Gerald and Anita Campbell of Idaho Falls; sister, Margaret Campbell of Idaho Falls; brother, Jim (Tasha) Campbell of Idaho Falls; sister, Cathy (Aaron) Wingert of Foster City, CA; and brother, Matthew Campbell of Idaho Falls.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2020, at Fielding Memorial Park, 4602 S. Yellowstone Highway, with Pastor Matt McGukin officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12-1:30 p.m. prior to services at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard.
