Ritchie "Butch" F. Parish

Ritchie F. “Butch” Parish, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 3, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Butch was born June 2, 1943, in Rigby, Idaho, to Orvil Kember Parish and Vesta Ann Ritchie Parish. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School. He also attended Ricks College.

He was married to Sharon Kaye Brewer in Nevada. Butch and Sharon made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Butch worked as a welder for Rigby Machine.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping.

Butch is survived by his daughter, Natalie Pauli of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters, Linda (Steve) Ferrell of Idaho Falls, ID and Enid (Steve) Bourgeois of Lehi, UT; brother, Boyd Parish of Rigby, ID; step-son, Chris Baker of Dallas, TX; and 2 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orvil and Vesta Parish; wife, Sharon Parish; step-son, David Baker; and sisters, Sandra Butler and Cheryl Parish.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
