Rikki Esqueda

Rikki Allyn Travis Esqueda left this world on March 7, 2013, on her own terms, just like she lived her life. She was born June 10, 1988, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Her parents and two older brothers anxiously awaited the arrival of this gorgeous baby girl, to join their family. Her smile and laughter were contagious, she was so very loved. Rikki lived as a free spirit. She loved listening to music and she loved her family. The happiest time of Rikki's life was when she was blessed with the birth of her precious daughter, Aaliyah, on September 4, 2008, and Aaliyah loved her mommy! Survivors include her precious daughter, Aaliyah; mother and step-father, Scott and Debbie Yagues of Idaho Falls, and father and step-mother, Russell and April Travis of Denver, CO; brothers, Tony and Tyler of Montana; a sister, Cheri, of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Milton and Ellen Dockter of MT, and grandmother, Delsa Travis of Colorado. Waiting for her with open arms on the other side are her step-father, Scott Dahlke, and her paternal grandfather, Bill Travis. Rikki slipped from our loving arms to enter forever peace. Our beautiful daughter, sister, mother, granddaughter and friend will be forever missed but her extraordinarily gorgeous smile and laugh will live on forever. A Celebration of Rikki's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home East Side,963 South Ammon Road. The family will meet with friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
