RICK FURNISS
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Rickey Lynn Furniss, 50, of Idaho Falls,
died July 22, 2003, at his home. He was under the care of Aspen Hospice.
He was born April 29, 1953 in Roseville, California, to
Kenneth Boyd Furniss and Carol Jane Lundgren Furniss. He grew up and attended
schools in Roseville and Long Beach, California before moving to Rigby and
attending schools there. He has lived in Idaho Falls for ten years.
He served in the U. S. Navy with an E-3 rank.
He married Sharlene Mansfield in Rigby in 1973 and they
were later divorced. He married Paralea Diana Nebeker in Idaho Falls, September
1, 1994.
He worked for Mountain States Helicopter, V-1 Oil as a
District Manager, wrote and maintained computer programs for Rigby High
School for several years. He worked for the last 23 years at the INEEL writing
software and as an I. T. Specialist.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, working with
computers, boating, camping, riding dirt bikes, motorcycles and snow machines.
He held a commercial pilots license and enjoyed flying his Cessna 182 and
Cessna 210.

Half-Sister: Terrina (John) Guempel, Lynwood, WA
11 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Jane Payne, and a sister,
Becky Jean Airhart.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, July 26,
2003, at the Idaho Falls LDS 13th Ward, 955 Memorial Drive, with Bishop
Todd Johnson officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7-8:30
p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and Saturday for one hour prior
to services at the church.
Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
