Rick Ferrel

Richard "Rick" Glen Ferrel, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 15, 2017, at his home. Rick was born August 15, 1961, in Ontario, Oregon, to Kenneth Oscar Ferrel and Carol Marie Strawn Evans. He grew up in Payette, Idaho. Rick later attended Idaho State School for the Deaf and Blind and graduated in 1982. He enjoyed movies, baseball, golf, basketball, swimming and camping. Rick also enjoyed his days at Upper Valley Options. Rick loved spending time with his family and friends. Richard is survived by his sister, Debbie Ferrel of Pocatello, ID; and father, Kenneth (Shirley) Ferrel of Council, ID; care givers, Terry and Carla Steen of Idaho Falls, ID; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Glen and Vera Ferrel, and Chet and Gladys Strawn. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls.
