Richard Wiemer

Richard John "Butch" Wiemer, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 17, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center

Butch was born August 19, 1959, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Richard Carl Wiemer and Eleanor May Raymond Wiemer. He attended Fairview Elementary in Lewisville and Bonneville High School.

On December 29, 1982, he married Carol Ann Nelson at Hope Lutheran Church in Idaho Falls. He worked as a HVAC Installer at Wiemer Heating and later owned and operated Butch’s Heating.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church and attended St. John’s Lutheran Church and Hope Lutheran Church. Butch enjoyed motorcycles, his friends and working, and above all he loved being a grandpa.

Butch is survived by his loving wife, Carol Ann Wiemer of Idaho Falls, ID daughter, Jessica Sue (Josh) Allison of Idaho Falls, ID daughter, Melissa Pearl Ann Wiemer of Idaho Falls, ID son, Robert Craig (Christina) Wiemer of Idaho Falls, ID mother, Eleanor May Wiemer of Idaho Falls, ID brother, John Carl (Heather) Wiemer of Meridian, ID sister, Bonnie Marie (Bernie) Hancock of Rigby, ID sister, Ann (Larry) Schultz of Stanton, CA sister, Kathy Ann Wiemer of Idaho Falls, ID sister, Cheryl Ann Wiemer of Idaho Falls, ID sister, Lilly KayAnn Reed of Idaho Falls, ID and 8 Grandchildren, Mackyla, Jade, Maddison, Michaul, Braxton, Meeka, David and Emerson

He was preceded in death by his father; a child, Sunny Wiemer; a grandson, Mathew Blair; a brother-in-law, Shannon Troy Reed; and a nephew, Domingo Scott Harris.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 25th, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, (290 7th Street) Casual dress is welcome.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers an account has been set up at the Bank of Idaho.
