LYLE WEEKS
IRWIN, ID -- Richard Lyle Weeks, 71, of Swan Valley, passed away, December 13, 2009, at his home.
He was born December 24, 1937, in Irwin, Idaho, to Richard William Weeks and Ida Beatrice Keep Weeks.
He attended school in Irwin and Ririe.
He married Ann Hill on April 30, 1962, in Swan Valley, Idaho. They later divorced after 18 years of marriage. He married Pat Cain and they later divorced. Lyle worked as a ranch hand for Daniel Traughber for many years and later was self employed working in lawn services. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses and snowmobiling.
Lyle is survived by:
Daughter, Lila Jean Christensen of Ammon;
Son, Darren Lyle Weeks of Firth;
Son, Michael Sean (Michelle)Weeks of Reno, NV;
Sister, Darlene Knobel of Boise;
Sister, Donna Joyce Pulley of Emmett;
Sister, Beatrice Kaye Weeks of Mansfield, TX
6 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Starla Ann (Dean) Winkler, sister, Phyllis Lavar Cazier, and a granddaughter, Sierra Starla Weeks.
Graveside Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at the Swan Valley Cemetery in Swan Valley, Idaho. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side Chapel, 963 S. Ammon Road, in Idaho Falls.

I want to thank all who offered help in anyway to my brother over the past years I know how much it helped him to cope with life each day. Lyle was a loving kind and sweet brother to me all his life, I will miss him so much. I hope that his passing will help his family understand that this life is the time to prepare to meet our God. My God bless and comfort all at this time.
