Click Here To View Memorial Video Richard Lyn Suitter, 73, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away at his home on November 27, 2014, from an extended illness. He was surrounded by his family. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on November 3, 1941, to Artell Suitter and Twila Empey Suitter. He attended schools in the Idaho Falls area and graduated from Bonneville High School. While attending high school, Richard served as student body vice president and was an outstanding athlete. He was the co-captain and running back for the Bonneville High School football team. He also excelled in track and participated in several state tournaments. Richard married Diane Frandsen, who was his sweetheart since eighth grade. They were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on August 3, 1962, and have since resided in the Idaho Falls area. Richard spent several years farming on the desert west of Idaho Falls, with his brother Dale. Later he and his brothers bought and operated Diamond S Produce in Firth, Idaho. Prior to his retirement, he went to work driving truck for Doug Andrus Distributing, where he made many friends. Survivors include his wife Diane, his four sons, Brad (Lori) of Shelley, ID; Michael (Terri) of Salt Lake City, UT; Brian (Angela) of Salt Lake City, UT; Ryan (Tammy) of Idaho Falls, ID; 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Sister, Marjorie (John) Seedall of Idaho Falls, ID; brothers , Artell (Betty) Suitter of Nampa, ID; Francis (Renee) Suitter of Salt Lake City, UT; Robert (Debra) Suitter of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Maureen (Bob) Parks of St George, UT; sister, Kathleen Johnson of Rexburg, ID; brother, Ray Suitter of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Delaine (Mike) Watson of Idaho Falls, ID; and sister, Deanne Samples of Idaho Falls, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, Artell and Twila Empey Suitter, and one brother, Dale Suitter. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the Kearney Second Ward, 1860 Kearney Avenue, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Bishop Brett Memmott will be presiding. Family will visit with friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, in Ammon and on Wednesday 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be at the Ammon Cemetery.

Burial will be at the Ammon Cemetery.
