Richard Russell

Charles Richard Russell, 85, formerly of Island Park, passed away January 16, 2023, at Homestead Assisted Living in Rexburg, Idaho.

Richard was born January 10, 1938, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Charles Benjamin Russell and Grace Dunbar Russell. He grew up and attended schools in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen High School.

Richard worked as a clerk for the Union Pacific Railroad. He resided in Island Park, Idaho, where he enjoyed snowmobiling, being a park guide, and visiting with his many friends.

Richard is survived by his three children, Charlotte (Calvin) Frew of Riverside, ID, Randy (Ronda) Russell of Idaho Falls, ID, and Cory (Crystal) Russell of Pocatello, ID; 12 grandchildren, Cathy, Chuck, Curtis, Carl, Shane, Kimberlee, NaShawn, Owen, Abigail, Kennedy, Bryce, and Quincy; and many great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
