RICHARD B. REED
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Richard Browning Reed, 74, of Idaho Falls,
Idaho died April 28, 2004, at his home of cancer.
He was born March 31, 1930 at Ririe, Idaho to William Jennings
Reed and Esther Sophia Browning Reed. He grew up in the area, attended Antelope
School and graduated from Ririe High School. Following graduation, he attended
Ricks College. He served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal during the Korean
Conflict.
On November 3, 1955, he married Venna Elizabeth Croft in
the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He was a farmer.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, he served on the Stake High Council, as a Stake Missionary and as
a High Priest Group Leader. As a young man, he served a full-time mission
to Canada.

Brother: Robert Reed, Ririe, ID
Brother: Jerry Reed, Ririe, ID
Sister: Verna Strong, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Karma Brinkman, Shelley, ID
Sister: Laurell Croft, Idaho Falls, ID
5 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004,
at the Idaho Falls LDS 39th Ward (7940 North 35 West), with Bishop Larry
Klingler officiating.
The family will meet with friends on Friday from 7-8:00
p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Rd.) and for one hour
prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls.
