POWELL IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Richard Hall Powell, 67, devoted husband, father and grandfather, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died October 20, 2001, at his home. He was under care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. He was born December 13, 1933 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Samual L. Powell and Ella C. Reeves Powell. He graduated from Lima, Montana High School. He served in the U. S. Navy as a medic. He married Sybil Yvonne Kelsey October 7, 1954 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Following their marriage, they lived in Santa Ana, California for 17 years where he worked as a machinist. He worked as a machinist, heavy equipment operator and in field maintenance for the Bureau of Land Management. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Powell, Idaho Falls, ID15 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m Wednesday, October 24, 2001, at the Rose Hill Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team. Following the services, there will be a luncheon at the Templeview Ward building (1450 Mountain View Lane) for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Donation slips may be picked up at the funeral home or at the cemetery.
