Click Here To View Memorial Video Richard K. Palmer, 53, of Firth, Idaho passed away June 11, 2014 in the Salt Lake City Veterans Hospital. Richard was born May 10, 1961 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Drue Edmund Palmer and Marjorie Treasure Palmer. He graduated from Rigby High School and later attended Idaho State University. On July 3, 1982 he married Tina Pontius. From this union they were blessed with two children. They were later divorced. Richard served in the Army and earned the ranking of Specialist. He owned and operated Center of Mass Tactical. Richard enjoyed volunteer firefighting, rendevous, building gun holsters, traveling to various gun shows, shooting competitions and most of all spending time with his grandkids, Bailey, Skyler, and Alicia. Richard is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne (Wesley Guntharp) Palmer of Davie, FL, Daughter, Shawna Palmer of Anaconda, MT, Mother, Marjorie Palmer Brady of Idaho Falls, ID, Brother, Roger (Ivonne) Palmer of Denver, CO, Brother, Brent (Paula) Palmer of Rigby, ID, Ron (Barbara) Palmer of Idaho Falls, ID, and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Drue Palmer. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Milo Cemetery. The family will meet with friends 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services at Wood Funeral Home (963 S. Ammon).
