Richard "Rick" Mundis

RICHARD MUNDIS RIGBY, IDAHO -- Richard Ralph Mundis, 51, of Rigby, died January 22, 2008, at his home. He was born December 10, 1956, in Yakima, Washington, to Richard Carson Mundis and Alice Lucille Moss Mundis. He grew up in Goldendale, Washington, where he graduated from high school. He later attended Eastern Idaho Technical College (EITC) in Idaho Falls, where he studied auto mechanics. He married Gwen Ward in Ucon. They were later divorced. He worked as a laborer at various companies, including the Idaho Falls Foundry. He enjoyed camping, mountaineering, fast cars, and listening to music. Richard especially loved spending time with his cousins, Jeanette and Yvonne. Survivors include: Daughter: Christina Shay Mundis, Rifle, CO Son: Adrian Scott Mundis, Rifle, CO Sister: Cindy (Ernie) Miller, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: John Paul McClanathan, Boise, ID He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, George Schmith; and a son, Richard Gabriel Mundis. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
