Richard Micklich

Richard L. "Dick" Micklich, 86, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 28, 2023, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family.

Richard was born April 25, 1937, in Pueblo, Colorado, to William Micklich and Rose Lakner Micklich. He grew up and attended schools in Pueblo, Colorado, and graduated from Pueblo Catholic High School.

On April 18, 1964, he married Mary Lynn Curleigh in New Delhi, India. Richard and Mary Lynn, with their family, moved frequently serving in the United States Navy for 30 years before retiring in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He was a member of the Roman Catholic church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Lynn Micklich of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Douglas (Chandelle), Kendall, Garrett, Harmon, and Paige Micklich of Spokane, WA; son, Brian (Jennifer), Faith, and Ben Micklich of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Craig (Laura), Drake, and Daisy Micklich of Upland, CA; and sisters, Bernadette Ellingwood and Mary Beth (Floyd) Micklich of Pueblo, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William Micklich and Thomas Micklich; and sisters, Wilma Rose Mendenhall and Baby Carol Irene Micklich.

We are truly grateful to One Source Hospice, and in particular, Corina Knight, for all the care giving services over the past few years.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 8,2023, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 145 9th Street in Idaho Falls. Burial Will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Blackfoot, Idaho.
