IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Richard Frank McAtee, 57, of , Idaho Falls, died suddenly on March 1, 2010, at his home of a heart attack.
Rick was born December 11, 1952 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Von Kaye McAtee and Angelina Regina Krieger McAtee. He attended Templeview Elementary, Clare E. Gale Jr. High School, and graduated from Skyline High School. He obtained an Associate Degree in welding from Idaho State University.
He married Linda Renae Dimos. She preceded him in death on November 1, 2002.
He married Kerry Louise Sato. He worked as the owner and operator of ProTec Landscaping.
He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Son: Kenny (Kim) Phillips, Idaho Falls, ID

Daughter: Shana Wessells, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Jason Wessells, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Rory Neddo, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Gary (Vicki) McAtee, Kennewick, WA
11 Grandchildren,
3 Nieces,
1 Great Niece, 1 Great Nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Von McAtee; brother, Roger McAtee; and first wife, Linda McAtee.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Rick was always kind and warm-hearted. As a good friend to my father, I was quick to recognize his soft voice when he called our house. That voice never changed. Always steady and never in a rush. I am sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man.
