Richard Howard Kremer

Richard Howard Kremer, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 25, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Richard was born November 21, 1945, in Whittier, California, to Jack Howard Kremer and Violetta Katherine Marks Kremer. He graduated from La Mirada High School in La Mirada, California. He served in the United States Army.

He married Hester Kremer. They later divorced. Richard worked as a licensed Sea Captain for boat tours and traveling.

He was a Christian. He was a member of the Desert Eagle Model Airplane Club. He built model and radio controlled airplanes. He was an artist, and enjoyed painting and drawing. He loved to read and learn. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, sailing, listening to music, and especially loved to cook and share his cooking with others.

Richard is survived by his sister, Susan (Ron) Francis of Idaho Falls, ID, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Violetta Kremer, and his brother, John Marks Kremer.

A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho. Military Honors will be performed by the Idaho Army Honor Guard.
